Our tuckshop is operated by our P&C and offers a wide selection of nutritious food and drinks.

All profits from our Tuckshop go back to the school through the P&C. We are part of the total education experience, providing a friendly, efficient and cost-effective service.

Our service

Our service is available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of school terms.

Our menu has a range of healthy food options, to tempt even the fussiest of kids. We are a nut-free service and customer requests are catered for to the best of our ability. While we take all necessary precautions when preparing your child's food, wheat, dairy and eggs are handled on the premises and some food manufacturers have nut warnings on their labels. The decision to order meals for their children is the responsibility of the parent/carer.

Orders are delivered to children’s class lunch areas and handed out by staff to ensure each child gets the correct order.

Ordering

Orders must be placed online by 8.00am the morning of delivery. Sorry, we do not accept cash as this is an additional administrative burden for our volunteers.

You need to establish a separate log in on School Shop Online from uniform and other ordering to order tuckshop.

Join our Tucky Team

Our tuckshop is staffed by a small team of paid, experienced staff and supplemented by volunteers. We welcome regular and as-available volunteers on tuckshop days (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) between 9am and 1pm. You do not need to be a skilled cook – basic cooking skills and the willingness help are all that is needed.

Children love seeing their relatives in the tuckshop and it is a great place to form new friendships and learn more about the school. Parents and carers of the children are welcome, as are grandparents, adult siblings (over 18 years), aunts, uncles, guardians, neighbours.

To volunteer, please email tuckshop@fhsspandc.online. If you would like to volunteer regularly and you are not a parent or carer you will need to apply for a Blue Card (to verify that you are safe to work with children) that is linked to the P&C Association. This is a simple thing to do online and is free. If you will need a Blue Card, please email secretary@fhsspandc.online.
