Our role

The Parents and Citizens’ (P&C) association works in partnership with our school principal and local community to achieve the best possible outcomes for students. We do this by:

  • raising funds for resources and facilities for the school and students.
  • encouraging close cooperation between parents, students, teaching staff and the community.
  • providing a tuckshop service in the school.
  • running the uniform shop.
  • providing an outside school hours care (OSHC) service for parents.
  • providing feedback on school policies  and activities.
  • engaging in future school planning processes.
  • providing opportunities for parents to be involved in their child's education and broader school community.
  • Each year we contribute to the cost of school programs including Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics (STEAM), literacy, sports, chaplaincy and various infrastructure projects. The P&C is proud to have provided funding for many school improvements, such as the school hall and air conditioning for most classrooms.

Our current fundraising focus areas are:

    • early years home reading program
    • playground upgrade for the prep classrooms
    • interactive screens for three classrooms.
Contribute at a level that suits you

Our P&C has an important job to do and we would love you to be part of it!

There are a number of ways you can be a part of the P&C:

By becoming a part of the P&C you will have the opportunity to:

  • meet other parents and become part of a community
  • contribute to your child's success and enjoyment of school
  • contribute to a collaborative, positive school culture and community
  • engage with the principal about matters that are important to you
  • influence school policies, activities, resource allocation and planning
  • oversee school performance
  • contribute to the school’s resources through various fundraising projects.
