The Ferny Hills State School P&C Association was formed in 1970 upon the opening of what was originally Ferny Way State School. The P&C is an integral part of our school community. Being involved provides you with the opportunity to influence the school’s strategic direction.
What we do
We are the link between the community and the school.
We raise funds for resources and facilities.
We operate the Tuckshop, Uniform Shop and Outside School Hours Care (OSHC).

What we contribute
Each year we contribute towards the cost of various school programs including Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics (STEAM), Literacy, Sports, Chaplaincy, and various infrastructure projects. The P&C built the school hall and air conditioned the majority of classrooms.
How we raise funds
We run events such as read-a-thons, trivia and movie nights, fun runs, gift stalls, raffles and school banking. We are always on the lookout for new and exciting ways to raise money!
How to get involved
The first step is to come along to a meeting. Our meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month during school term time at 7pm in the Library. Meet fellow parents and community members and see what it’s all about.
To become a member, complete a Membership Form (DOC, 44KB).
P&C Executive Committee positions (i.e. President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary) are elected at the AGM in March each year. To nominate for one of these positions, complete a Nomination Form (DOC, 47KB) and submit prior to the AGM.
