Parent Information and P&C Welcome BBQ

​Parent information sessions will be held next Wednesday 12 February, from 6pm – 8pm.  The sessions will be hosted in teachers’ classrooms.

The information sessions are an opportunity for parents/caregivers to hear from class teachers about the following topics:

  • School learning priorities of Reading and Writing.
  • General overview of curriculum for the year
  • Home/School communication systems
  • Weekly class timetable - specialist lessons, library etc.
  • Homework/Home reading expectations
  • Class procedures - waiting areas, bags, iPads, mobile phones
  • School banking and tuckshop
  • Excursions and camps
  • Parent volunteer opportunities
  • Attendance and arriving on time (school starts at 8.50am)
  • Uniform expectations, including black shoes and white/green socks
  • NAPLAN (Year 3 and 5)
  • Reporting: Parent interviews (Terms 1 and 3) and Student Reports (Terms 2 and 4)

Our P & C will also provide a BBQ (free of charge) to all parents and students who attend.
